Book Blog Hop Question:
"Since Thanksgiving is coming up next week, let's use this week's Hop to share what we are most thankful for and what our holiday traditions are!"
I come from a very small family and every year for Thanksgiving my parent's neighbors invite us over to enjoy the holiday with them. I'm thankful that there are people in my life who welcome us into their home on the holidays, which can be quite lonely if you don't have many relatives. Now that I have moved out and I am living with my significant other, I'm happy that I can spend Thanksgiving with both his family and mine, as well as our good friends.
Happy Hop!

Hi! I'm a new follower :)
ReplyDeleteMy parents have flown south for the winter, and this is the second year that they haven't been here for Thanksgiving. The holidays just aren't the same now, so enjoy what you have while you have it!

ReplyDeleteThanksgiving is my holiday. My oldest son's birthday is right at this time so it was understood that this would be my holiday to cook and have everyone over. We usually have the traditional Thanksgiving meal. I cook the dressing that my Mom taught me how to make. I love this time of year. I'm off from work almost the whole week. Love it!!

Welcome to blogging and to the hop! We also celebrate Thanksgiving with friends, since we've moved to a city where we don't have other family. Have a great holiday!

ReplyDeleteEspecially holidays, being with friends makes a big difference, and it can get lonely otherwise.
Have a great thanksgiving break :)
